    Managing Directors

    Steven and Richard share a great wealth of knowledge combining years of experience, passion, energy and enthusiasm allowing them to create a unique brand of residential sales and lettings services. In 2008 Steven and Richard began their business and have continued to work effortlessly to ensure all our landlords, tenants, vendors and purchasers are delivered the best service possible. Complimented by their strong team who share the vision, Steven and Richard have created a unique business that continues to set the standard.

    Richard completed his Propertymark Technical award in Sale of Residential Property and Propertymark Technical award in Residential Letting and Property Management. Richard is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. Steven also completed his Propertymark Technical award in Residential Letting and Property Management and is an Associate member of the NAEA.

  • Trevor Mapara MARLA

    Director of Lettings

    Trevor brings experience and knowledge to our expanding sales, lettings and investment business in London, Edinburgh and throughout the UK.  Trevor is the Director our Lettings team with a passion for property and a focus on service and results.  Trevor prides himself on knowledge and an ability to understand the needs of clients. Trevor is vastly experienced in property acquisitions, buy to let investments and dealing with institutional investors. Trevor completed his Propertymark Technical award in Residential Letting and Property Management hence gaining the postnominals MARLA.

    Steven joined the Murray & Currie lettings team in 2015 and brings with him over 10 years experience in the Edinburgh lettings industry. A vastly experienced letting manager, Steven has excellent knowledge of our range of properties, local areas, schools and transport links. Steven also handles our tenancy applications to ensure approved and verified tenants are selected for our properties.

    Ben is responsible for responding to email and telephone enquiries and giving our clients a warm welcome to our office at 60 Queen Street. Ben also plays for Edinburgh Academical Football Club whom Murray & Currie proudly sponsor at Raeburn Place. Ben works closely with all departments making him best placed if you are looking for a property, Ben will help match your requirements and secure a viewing appointment for you with one of our property managers.

    Harry Crombie joined the Murray & Currie team following the successful merging of his business Crombie & Co in September 2018. Harry has more than 11 years' experience in Edinburgh Lettings and Property Management, working with various companies, as well as running his own business for 5 years. With his detailed knowledge and connections in the Edinburgh market, Harry has taken on the role of Research & Strategy which brings us new opportunities to showcase the strengths of our Lettings Business, with analysis of our business and the market as a whole as well as Blog articles and newsletters to keep us better connected with our clients.

    Client Accounts Manager

    A successful result of our Napier University graduate scheme, Sara is our Accounts Manager and oversees the running of our landlord, contractor and tenant accounts. Sara has worked in all departments and has extensive knowledge of the lettings industry.She has an excellent understanding of the legislative requirements for renting, maintenance and lettings ensuring she is perfectly placed to offer advice on any situation presented to her. Sara in May completed her Propertymark Technical award in Residential Letting and Property Management hence gaining the postnominals MARLA.

    Cat began with Murray & Currie as a member of our Front of House team. Cat has moved in to the maintenance department providing great support alongside Claire, Stephanie and Nicole in office for any maintenance issues reported.     Joe has 30 years' experience in the building trade. He has worked for Murray & Currie since day one. Before working at M&C Joe worked for a some of our clients and maintains a great working relationship with both landlords and tenants and always works with a smile!

    Greenstone are a multi-skilled domestic property testing and installation company. They work for homeowners and property agents offering installations and servicing for Boilers, Central Heating, Electrical and Fire Safety certificates.
