Steven A Currie
Steven has worked in the heart of Edinburgh's property market for over 12 years. With his visible enthusiasm and passion for property it was no surprise that in 2008 he made a decision to combine his strength and knowledge of the letting market with Richard Murray to create 'Murray & Currie Property Sales & Lettings'.

Our senior property manager is John Forsyth and he is available to deal with day to day questions & queries. He is assisted by Theo, Aimee and Charlotte.
John Forsyth
John graduated with a first class honours degree in Business Management from Edinburgh University and joined Murray and Currie in the summer 2011 bringing with him a wealth of experience from the residential property markets in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Dundee. John’s main tasks include the day to day running of the Edinburgh office, ensuring the team is motivated, flats are being let and that new business is being generated. A highly motivated and passionate property manager, he brings both experience and energy to the Murray & Currie team.
Theo Droop
Theo Joined Murray and Currie in the summer of 2011 and brings with him a unique blend of motivation and reliability to all tasks.
A keen and conscientious property manager, Theo is tasked with dealing with enquires, carrying out viewings, advertising and marketing properties.
He has excellent local knowledge and prides himself of finding the right person for the right property. Rest assured he can source the perfect property for you.
Aimee Stephen
Excellent people and organisational skills makes Aimee a great office administrator. From dealing with incoming enquiries, to assisting the property managers with lease signings, Aimee's day can be quite varied. She joined the team in early 2011 and immediately made a great impression to both landlords and tenants with her 'can do' attitude.
Charlotte Gray
Charlotte knows the streets of Edinburgh like the back of her hand and her strong knowledge of Edinburgh’s properties both new build and traditional build is extremely reassuring for tenants looking to secure quality properties in the area that suits all of their needs. Charlotte will be delighted to furnish you with local knowledge from Schools to Supermarkets, Doctors to Dentists. Maintenance
Kat Usher looks after the maintenance team at Murray & Currie, supported by her assistant Corinne. Joe Turner heads up our 24hour field maintenance team.
Kat Usher
Kat has a vast experience in residential lettings and has operated in the Scottish Borders & Edinburgh property markets for almost 10 years. Kat is in charge of the maintenance department and therefore is in charge of all Murray & Currie’s tradesmen. She is a highly efficient, hardworking and customer focused person and so you can be sure that every problem, no matter how big or small is dealt with in the most efficient manner.
Corinne Spencer
Corinne has been carefully selected to join the Murray & Currie Maintenance Department to work closely with and support Kat Usher in developing and improving the already efficient systems that are in place. Analysing existing procedures and introducing new ones, Murray & Currie will be leading the way with a unique brand of customer support and service. The maintenance department never sleeps and it is vital that relations with tenants, landlords and contractors are as strong and healthy. Corinne with her many years of experience has a proven track record of excellent communication and succeeding. These key attributes make her a very approachable and qualified property professional to deal with all things maintenance.
The Maintenance Team

Accounts
Chris Duffy is our financial controller and he is assisted in the dedicated accounts team by Sunna.
Chris J Duffy
Chris joined the Murray & Currie team in August 2008 to head up the accounts department. His main role is to ensure that rent is getting paid on time, deposits are being handled fairly and of course to ensure that landlords are getting their rent on time, every time. Chris has over 15 years’ experience working in both property letting and sales and so has a vast amount of knowledge.
Sunna Gissurardottir
Sunna Gissurardottir joined 'Murray & Currie' in summer 2011 and brings with her a rich balance of knowledge, energy and proven ability to perform at the highest level.
Sunna adds a vital ingredient to the 'Murray & Currie' team and is tasked with the job of continuing to build and develop the already established team, thus ensuring the service delivered is unique to everyone who employs the services of 'Murray & Currie'
